Door Wreath & Letters

Picture
My sister made the wreaths that will be hanging on the church doors. We bought all supplies at Hobby Lobby while they were 50% off (except the wreaths themselves and they were only $4.99 each).

I bought wooden letters, fabric, and fabric glue at Hobby Lobby to make the letters that will hand from each of the wreaths.

Tissue Paper Pomanders

Picture
Supplies
Tissue paper from Nashville Wraps (I ordered the huge packs, $40 for two packs, 1 blue and 1 lavender)
Floral Wire (ACMoore)
2" styrofoam balls (cut in half)

I used these instructions if you want to make some of these. The only thing that I did different was to cut my tissue paper into pieces 8" x 4" instead of 10" x 5" (because I liked the smaller size of the flowers) and I only used half of the styrofoam ball for each pomander (so it would lay flat against the pew).

Aisle Decor

The church we're getting married in looks very much identical to this one so I'm pretty sure I'll try to achieve this look exactly as shown. The only difference will be that my pomanders from above will be where the pew flower arrangements are in the picture.

Unity Candle

Picture
This was the simplest DIY project that I've completed. Below are the steps I took.

1) Created/have someone create your monogram (I created mine using Publisher & Paint).

2) Buy vellum paper (mine was for an inkjet printer & I bought it @ Staples) and print your monogram on it. LET IT DRY COMPLETELY (I waited until the next day to put attach it to the candle to make sure I wouldn't smudge the ink).

3) Trim the vellum and wrapped it around the candle (adhere with double sided tape).

4) Attach the ribbon with double sided tape.

Ta-Da. You're finished. Easy as pie!

Unity Candle Holder

This one isn't quiet DIY...but the candles that will go in it are! I found the perfect Unity Candle Holder today as I was searching the net. It's from Lenox and I'm in L-O-V-E! I can't wait to get my hands on this beauty!

Ring Bearer Pillow

Picture
I used the instruction here to make a ring bearers pillow for our oldest ring bearer! It was super easy after I finally found a fabric I liked.
